The Mobile Food Guide has been designed for mobile phones, palmtop computers and other wireless internet devices. You can access the guide on your device wherever you receive a suitable signal such as Wi-Fi, WLAN, 3G or GPRS.

Mobile Setup

If your device can access the mobile internet you can use The Mobile Food Guide in the version which has a layout optimised for small phone screens. You may need to contact your service provider to enable internet browsing.

You will need to key the following address into your device, usually as a Bookmark or Favourite: http://tmfg.mobi

When you access that address on a mobile device a browser detect mechanism will direct you to the correct page.

There is no subscription charge to access The Mobile Food Guide. Data download charges may apply subject to your mobile operator tariff. The MFG mobile site has been designed to keep download size to an absolute minimum.

Enter http://tmfg.mobi into your mobile web browser and follow the instructions. It will detect if you need to install Google Gears.

Thereafter, every time you log onto the MFG mobile home page, your approximate location will be detected and your five nearest restaurants will be shown.
