Restaurants in North London
North London's contribution to the capital's restaurant scene is mostly in small-scale, rather than grand culinary enterprises.
Islington and Finchley have probably spawned more gastropubs than anywhere else in London. These are some of the brightest and most refreshing places to eat.
Elsewhere, Stoke Newington has its Turkish community and was the birthplace of London's interest in Keralan cuisine, there's Mauritian cooking in Finsbury Park and trendy regional Greek razzmatazz in Hoxton.
