Restaurants in South East London
The Thames makes its presence felt here. Culture vultures head for the South Bank and The Old Vic, and a host of wine bars, brasseries and restaurants have sprung up in their wake.
Further along the river, Conran's gastrodome complex dominates the action around Tower Bridge, although other restaurants are getting in on the act.
Out in the suburban fringes, neighbourhood restaurants do their stuff by feeding the locals.
