Restaurants in Folkestone
The Channel Tunnel terminal puts Folkestone at the gateway to Europe but that in itself causes so many people to bypass this delightful seaside town made famous in the Edwardian era. The bandstand on the Leas still captures the spirit while age old fishing boats keep restaurants supplied with local sea bass, lobsters and Dover sole.
A town that is currently regenerating so fast boasts a clutch of restaurants well worth a special journey while neighbouring Sandgate sports some lively bars plus the famous Ship Inn... probably the best pint of IPA in Kent!
