Review on Finca Es Serral
An absolute delight, Finca Es Serral is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of Arta, and as if time stood still, Margarita Lliteras-Espinosa prepares seasonal delicacies with the aid of her husband Sebastian who, following in his ancestors' footsteps, cultivates the surrounding land to grow fruit and vegetables for which the end result is a restaurant menu that is 'fresh and simple'.
The rustic dining room is light and airy and leads onto the terrace for al fresco dining in summer. Expect to be served what's ready in the garden and local markets: Es Serral salad with yoghurt vinaigrette, sopas Mallorquina, oven baked lamb or goat, suckling pig, rabbit with onions, cod with sobrassada and honey or Warm fish salad.
The wine list is unashamedly Mallorcan and does the job properly.
