Review on The Diving Horse
From May 20th through the end of September, the team behind Philadelphia's successful Pub & Kitchen will open for the second year The Diving Horse, a seasonal seafood-focused BYOB in Avalon. Owner Dan Clark, managing partner Ed Hackett and Chef Jonathan Adams opened The Diving Horse in May of 2010 to instant popularity and warm recognition from critics and diners alike. Located at 2109 Dune Drive, the intimate 70-seat restaurant with open kitchen serves fresh ingredients sourced from local farms and day boat fishermen. Featuring outdoor communal dining space, a white-washed modern farmhouse atmosphere and bright, oversized windows with views of Avalon's quaint main street, The Diving Horse will be open seven nights a week starting at 5pm. {Due to the size of the dining room, parties over 8 can not be accommodated.}
