The Kaminstube is a hotel-restaurant in Bad Peterstal-Griesbach in the Black Forest. The restaurant serves surprisingly creative dishes from Baden and the local area ? with influences from French haute cuisine. It does so in an elegant Alpine-style setting. The chef Martin Herrmann's approach is both subtle and down-to-earth earning the hotel's Kaminstube countless awards in prestigious restaurant guides - including a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin and three Kochlöffel (cooking spoons) in the Aral Schlemmer Atlas. It is one of Germany's 20 Hotels der Sonderklasse (exclusive hotels) with two restaurants offering an unusual variety of dishes. On Sundays and public holidays it serves a substantial breakfast-brunch following different themes. For variety the restaurant holds regular cooking parties where diners can design their own menu.
