Restaurant Baldegg sits in an idyllic position above the town of Baden in the canton of Aargau, a popular destination thanks to the amazing panoramic views and its traditional Swizz cuisine. The restaurant has been refurbished to its former glory and is light and airy with a modern décor.

There are both cold and warm starters on the menus such as a tomato and mozzarella salad or homemade liver dumpling soup. Traditional main courses follow with veal medallions in mushroom cream sauce, garnished with vegetables and buttered pasta or Olma Bratwurst, veal sausage in onion sauce with French fries or rösti potatoes. There is a good selection of vegetarian meals, as well as a healthy eating section and smaller portions are available for children. The observation tower is a particular highlight and in fine weather you can see for miles in all directions. During the summer months you can dine outside under the trees, and children are kept amused in a little playground, adjacent to the restaurant. The restaurant is about half an hours drive from Zurich
