On the food front, the kitchen caters admirably for all tastes and appetites, from a children's menu, high teas and easy light bites to more structured lunches and evening meals. Come for dinner in the restaurant and you might be offered chicken tempura with garlic and Dijon mustard aïoli or Kilhorne Bay prawns with lemon and herb salad, ahead of roast duck with teriyaki glaze or French-trimmed pork rack with cabbage, bacon and red wine jus. After that, perhaps tarte Tatin or raspberry and marscarpone mousse with Rossini dipping biscuits.
