Review on CoCo

Formerly Roscoff Brasserie, the CoCo restaurant in Belfast's historic Linenhall Street has become one of the most talked about restaurants in the city and is already collecting top restaurant awards. It is run by top chef Jason More and is ably assisted by his partner Yvonne Gray who are both delighted by the success of their new venture. Describing the surroundings of their restaurant as 'sexy-chic boutique' it is certainly eye-catching with a glitter ball in the bar area to create a funky atmosphere. Contemporary art work is featured on the walls and is available for purchase.

Food is locally sourced and follows the seasons with an ever-changing menu and proceedings might open with gremolata crusted asparagus, garlic squid and herb butter or crispy pork, mango coriander salsa and honey ginger jus. For mains there is pan roasted scallops, teriyaki, bok choy, mushrooms, spring onion and coriander or other possibilities might include duck breast with
carrot parsnip puree, roast spuds and sage jus.

CoCo is also featured in: Michelin Guide, Good Food Guide, AA Guide
