Review on Tragara

For years in the 1970s Michel Laudier fed the famous and powerful as chef of the haute Rive Gauche in Georgetown. Today Laudier remains focused, absorbed and endlessly creative, and it shows in dishes like his signature agnolotti, paper-thin homemade pasta filled with spinach in a parmesan sauce. Linguini all'aragosta is a magnificent treat, a whole Maine lobster roasted and served over perfect pasta. The osso buco Milanese, too is sublime. Laudier's food is never too busy; His irreverence comes out in his homemade desserts and Ice cream. This beautiful Italian restaurant, owned by Claude Amsellem, is now celebrating its 20th anniversary. Tragara, with its lovely upstairs banquet room, hosts many private events, Bar-Bat Mitzvah, Weddings, Business meeting, Seminars, and Chef Laudier creates unforgettable pastries and cakes for the occasions.
