Review on Henrys Cantonese Restaurant
Located in prestigious St. Paul's Square close to Birmingham city centre, Henrys Cantonese is a family-owned restaurant that has been established for around two decades.
As the name implies, regional Cantonese cuisine is the main theme, which means a healthy showing of seafood: check out steamed king prawns in garlic sauce, baked lobster with ginger and spring onions, and stuffed squid with chilli and pepper.
The full 200-dish menu also spreads its wings for Mongolian crispy lamb, chicken in fiery Szechuan sauce, and even sizzling sliced duck in satay sauce; also note chef's recommendations including 'big wok' (grilled halibut, king prawns and Chinese vegetables with beancurd and oyster sauce). During the week, a pianist plays authentic Chinese music while you eat.
A Sunday buffet has recently been introduced with a help-yourself selection of over 30 dishes - something to suit everyone's individual taste.
