Review on Restaurant zum Löwen
The Zum Löwen is a family-run restaurant on the Bodensee. It has attractive décor, sitting areas, beautifully laid tables, plants and candle light. Dishes are flambéed right in front of the guests. The chef Herbert Schmid can offer you, for example, Brätknödelsuppe (soup with meat dumplings) or Löwen Töpfle (pork fillet served with cheese noodles, creamed mushroom sauce and fried onions). There is Gummibärenbecher (ice-cream served with cream) for the kids. The restaurant is popular with day-trippers, regulars and families. The staff are organised and friendly and there is an international selection of wine.
