The Wirtschaft zum Bott is one of three restaurants in the historic Hotel Bad Bubendorf 20 km from Basel. The Wirtschaft zum Bott is known primarily as the birth place of the Cantons and offers tasty, yet reasonably priced dishes prepared with love and attention to detail. A rugged wood carving called the 'Bottewage', is situated in the centre of the restaurant, and is a great addition to the relaxed rustic atmosphere. You can sample the best battered European perch fillets directly from the grill here, or various roasted specialties. Meat free dishes are clearly marked on the menu and youngsters are offered a special children's menu. For a gourmet dining experience the hotel's Michelin starred restaurant Osteria TRE serving modern Italian cuisine is highly recommended, or the Wintergarten with an international and Swiss menu.
