Review on Thai Sunset
Thai Sunset in Hertfordshire brings a true splash of Eastern flair to the vibrant and prosperous town of Bushey. With a clean and elegant decor of black and white, owner David Krite and his Thai wife, Anotai, have created a modern restaurant that is both sophisticated and friendly.
The chefs have based the menu primarily on Bangkok's cooking style, using the best flavours, herbs and spices of the other regions of Thailand to make for a rich and varied menu. Six superbly balanced set menus prove popular choices among the less adventurous, whilst exotic dishes such as Panang Neu (a tender beef red curry with coconut milk and lime leaves) and Goong Mungorn Pongaree (stir fried lobster tail in yellow curry paste, peppers, onions, celery and asparagus) are rare treats for even the connoisseur of Thai cuisine. Unusually for a Thai restaurant, the desserts are equally enticing, with specialities such as coconut with palm sugar wrapped in a pandan leaf pancake.
