Review on Collage Restaurant, Radisson Blu Glasgow

A real contemporary dazzler, the Radisson Blu Glasgow is a stunning angular building with all manner of innovative and modish architectural features - no wonder it scooped many design awards when it opened in 2002.

The Collage Restaurant follows suit and - as the name suggests - it has an artistic theme. Created by artist Sir Peter Blake (of Sergeant Pepper's fame) in collaboration with veteran restaurateur Roy Ackerman, it offers European cuisine with a Mediterranean slant and some traditional Scottish influences.

You might kick off with crab linguine, red chilli and coriander oil or haggis with neeps 'n tatties, ahead of whole baked sea bass with fennel, lemon and thyme or roast rump of lamb with sweet potato gratin and rosemary jus. To finish, try raspberry shortcake or pineapple tarte Tatin. Trendy light bites, nibbles and drinks are also available in the award-winning Collage Bar and the Atrium.
