L'Ermitage, a restaurant with rooms, is set in a late 19th century villa located on the shores of Lake Geneva in Montreux's suburb of Clarens. It is owned by husband and wife team Etienne and Isabelle Krebs, the former was the Gault Millau best cook of the year in 1995. Kreb's cuisine shows culinary intelligence and diversity, together with the beautiful visual presentation of the dishes. L'Ermitage has welcomed a host of celebrities to the restaurant to delight in his exquisite Michelin starred food, including the President of Switzerland. Service led by Isabelle is charming and there is an impressive wine list to complement the dishes.
