Review on Kingsway Hotel

A classic seaside hotel in the holiday resort of Cleethorpes, the Kingsway Hotel has been in the Harris family for four generations and is notable for its ever-helpful personable service and loyal staff.

There are superb views over the Humber Estuary to the North Sea from the windows of the traditionally appointed restaurant, which is equally popular for business lunches and celebratory dinners. The kitchen deals in wide-ranging international dishes to please all palates and preferences. Begin with crayfish salad, confit of duck or wild mushroom and pea risotto, before sampling the likes of roasted halibut on a fricassee of green vegetables with spiced aubergine purée, tournedos of Aberdeen Angus beef with grain mustard mash and oxtail gravy or chicken and leek pie. For after there are traditional homemade desserts or cheeses.

    Fantastic

    This was the best restaurant I have been to in Cleethorpes. It exceeded mine and my friends expectations. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. The food was to die for. I'm going to make it a regular place to eat out. Thank you to all the staff for making our day out wonderful

    Lovely old fashioned elegance

    A lovely old fashioned high quality hotel ,this chef is amazing, silver service. Antiques, truly a trip down memory lane , thank you xx
