Review on Zinc Bistro Bar and Bakery
The Cafes of Paris have traditionally been called "Zincs", the name being derived from the pewter bar counters which became a trademark of these establishments. The Zincs of Paris were regarded for their food and drink as well as being a social gathering place for people of all walks of life. It is in this spirit that we welcome you to visit Cleveland's first Zinc; Zinc Bistro-Bar-Bakery. Located in the vibrant Gateway District and East Fourth Street area, Zinc will serve Classic French and American Faire in a high energy atmosphere.
Zinc will house Cleveland's only Raw Bar, built into the Zinc topped bar and featuring various varieties of oysters, clams, crab and other shellfish. Outside, you will find a 30 seat bar and alfresco dining all in a beautifully landscaped park. The dining room features curved booth seating, a mezzanine level ideal for people-watching and a private room capable of hosting fifty guests.
