Review on Port Blau
Proudly run by the same family since 1965, Port Blau in Colonia de Sant Jordi is spacious and bright and is done up with seafaring and Mediterranean touches. Its traditional ambience makes for a peaceful setting and the large terrace at the head of the beach is the jewel in the crown of this restaurant.
Fresh seafood is the name of the game, and simplicity is the kitchen's hallmark. Fried young squid, octopus Galician style, John Dory fried with onion & garlic, grilled or roast bass, catch of the day from the local area and mussels and clams. Among the carnivorous options, expect lamb chops fried in garlic, grilled chicken breast or suckling pig fried with garlic. However, it could be argued that it would be a sin to miss the mixed fresh seafood platter!
A simple wine list and home-made desserts complete the package.
