Review on Restaurant L'Endroit
Restaurant L'Endroit is a small restaurant that opened in May 2003 serving traditional French cuisine to the people of Congleton and the restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a Parisian style terrace outside for dining al fresco. The owner is chef patron Eli Leconte who produces a menu where everything apart from the cheese and ice cream is prepared freshly on the premises. Game is a speciality and you can enjoy a special game lunch at the end of the season. Starters might kick off with pan-fried pigeon breast with almonds and port or Shetland rope mussels with a chive cream before mains of pheasant breast stuffed with the leg meat and foie gras and sauce Normande or a wild venison stew. Desserts could run to a traditional crème brulee or Marquise au chocolat, or you may prefer the cheeseboard with its selection of five fantastic English farmhouse cheeses. There is a fairly priced wine list of eminently drinkable stuff.
