Review on The 10 Cases

The 10 Cases is the first venture of restaurateurs Ian Campbell and Will Palmer set in Covent Garden, handily placed for theatre goers. The restaurant is light and airy with simple furnishings set on a chequered tiled floor. The concept behind the name is that the wine list offers only 10 white and 10 red cases and when those have gone, a new wine will be added to the list. All wines are serves by the glass, carafe or bottle.

Heading the tiny kitchen is Charles Lee who has produced a short daily changing menu that will feature a choice of just three starters, main courses and desserts. Typical options that might appear on the blackboard menu could be a starter of snails on toast, followed by a main course of Barnsley lamb chop. Service is friendly and knowledgeable and there is a private dining room available upstairs.
