Review on A Toute Heure
A Toute Heure, a bistro located in the Centennial Village of Cranford, use the freshest ingredients sourced from local farms, markets, and purveyors. Their new American menu, with French and Spanish influences, is an exploration of the best ingredients the season has to offer. Enjoy lunch or dinner in the charming dining room. The food is incredibly wine friendly, so BYO.
Opened in May of 2007, this small bistro, run by Andrea & Jim Carbine is making an impression with their strong connection to local farmers and artisans. Jame's Beard nominee, Andrea Carbine tends to the bistro's own gardens, and works with farmers to select the best of the seasonal bounty for the menu. Talented Executive Chef Kara Decker and Pastry Chef Luis Zambrano prepare dishes layered with a great depth of flavor that showcases the local produce, meats, and sustainable seafood. A Toute Heure received Edible Jersey magazine's 2008 "Local Hero" award for restaurants.
