Review on Sou'Wester
At Sou'Wester, Chef de Cuisine Eddie Moran's cuisine is meant to be approachable and comfortable and takes inspiration from classic American recipes. Everything on our menu is prepared daily with fresh ingredients we source from the farms of the Virginia countryside to the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. The restaurant's comfortable dining room offers views of the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.
The menu reads with a Southern lilt and features traditional as well as interpretive takes on American classics such as Skillet Fried Chicken with Coleslaw, Chicken and Dumplings and Sauteed Chesapeake Bay Rockfish. Our desserts feature classic American favorites such as Red Velvet Cake with Vanilla Creme Anglaise, Lemon Meringue Tart and Sou'Wester Mud Pie among other popular selections.
