Blue Whale is the largest and most acclaimed restaurant in Fire Island Pines. It's perched on the majestic Pines harbour, giving diners a spectacular and romantic view both day and night. In 2010, new owners transformed the space, menu and service, producing the first Manhattan-quality restaurant in memory on Fire Island. The NY Post's Page Six referred to it as "Celebrity Central" after Tina Brown, Rosie O'Donnell and a slew of major fashion designers were spotted there. The menu is filled with light summer fare, with an emphasis on fresh fish and seafood. Desserts are out of this world. Lunch, brunch and dinner served every day. Late dining is a special event at Blue Whale, as there's evening entertainment every Thursday-Monday.
