The Gargantua offers an oasis of good food in the Westend district of Frankfurt. It has a green, antique cabinet and is full of pictures, candles, crystal chandeliers and mirrors. The dining room has a high ceiling, apricot coloured walls and beautiful flower arrangements. Diners are casually or formally dressed, sit on dark wooden chairs and enjoy the fine cuisine prepared by the chef Klaus Trebes. Herr Trebes specialises in an innovative form of German cuisine. You can also dine out in the garden area which is covered with an ivy roof. The service is excellent and so too is the wine selection which offers a choice of European wine.
