Serving cider and beer since 1838, the long tradition of the Hessen guest house is alive and well today in the Gasthaus zum Löwen. Cast your eyes over the historic murals and enjoy the simple cooking before you, reflecting exactly what it says on the menu. In addition though, you can also choose more contemporary contributions, such as vitality food for the health conscious or the jumbo steak from young German oxen. The range of culinary offerings is completed by a well-priced lunch special on the weekly menu, as well as the wonderful old chestnut trees in the summer garden. The dining area can seat 60 people and for private and business events, the best place is the cookery school.
