Review on Weidemann
The Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper describes Weidemann as an institution, by which it is referring to the restaurant's panache as well as its food. The multilingual owner Angelo Vega speaks Spanish, his mother tongue, German, Italian, Catalan, French and English. This way, he can offer a warm welcome to everyone who dines at Weidemann. Vega cooks to order for his guests, but if you would rather order something from the menu, you will find plenty of seafood and French-influenced dishes here. There is a menu for lunchtime guests, as well as daily specials. The restaurant has seating for 60 people and the school has seating for up to 28 people, which can also be booked for seminars. Additionally, the conservatory, winner of the Gastro-Award, has seating for 24 guests and in the summer, up to 60 people can enjoy eating under the chestnut trees in the garden.
