Review on The Stag Hampstead
A stupendous garden area makes the revamped Stag one of Hampstead's must-visit, fine-weather pubs. It also has its own private part floor with a bar and roof terrace.
Situated on the corner of Fleet Road, near the southern fringes of Hampstead Heath, the place has been feeding and watering the locals for more than a century. Following a serious refurb, it now displays its Victorian sensibilities with a traditional fireplace and maple bar, plus contemporary black leather banquettes, red lampshades and grey panelled walls. Organic ingredients show up strongly on the British menu together with some excellent cuts of meat.
