Review on The Great House

The Great House is a 16th century inn set in the heart of the Kentish weald in charming Gills Green between Hawkhurst and Cranbrook. It just oozes character and history with its wealth of exposed beams and a magnificent orangery overlooking the private garden. A traditional lynch gate and a herb garden just add to its charm. The Mediterranean style stone terrace is the ideal place to enjoy summer evenings.

The menu is made up of traditional English cuisine, regional French brasserie style cuisine as well as local seasonal game. A fine selection of ales and wine compliment the menus.
