Review on Stella Sola
Stella Sola is a new restaurant in the Houston Heights from Houston restaurateurs Bryan Caswell & Bill Floyd (owners of Reef & Little Bigs).
Stella Sola (which means Lone Star in Italian) features Texas-Tuscan cuisine, where Texas culture and ingredients meet the flavors and influences of Northern Italy. The kitchen makes everything in-house - from cured meats and sausages to cheeses and fresh pastas; we also dry-ages our own cuts of beef. In addition, Stella Sola's menu includes flat breads, slow braised meat dishes & fresh catch from the Gulf.
Our wine list is designed for guests to enjoy wine with every meal with an aggressive pricing program that offers great wines as close to retail pricing as we can get. Among the well-known wine producers are smaller, family-run wineries. Tuscany is well-represented (how could it not be?), but so are many other wine-producing regions from all over the globe.
