The fine dining restaurant Tassili is located in the luxurious Grand Jersey in an idyllic setting overlooking the picturesque St Aubin's Bay. The multi award winning dining room looks overtly glamorous and impresses with its stunning good looks while exuding an intimate ambience.

Heading the kitchen is chef Nicolas Valmagna who brings a touch of class and invention to the kitchen and his cooking is shot through with intriguing ideas and a loyalty to the seasons. There is a strong emphasis on impeccable products sourced from local suppliers such as outstanding pork from Darren Quenault's "Classic Herd" or the pristine Jersey bass from Louis Jackson at the Fresh Fish Company.

The menu works its way through some inviting modern dishes along the lines of marinated foie gras and smoked 'Creedy Carver' duck Cocoa, Pedro Ximenez, pine nuts, pain d`epiceor or parfait and yuzu marinated salmon, avocado, wasabi and squid ink, Kombu foam amongst the starters. Mains follow suit with quail, boudin noir, 'cauliflower cheese' roasted foie gras and morels and quail jus or olive oil poached cod, sauté langoustine, potato gallette, broccoli purée, samphire and broccoli shoots. There is no let-up when it comes to the dessert stage, where there are delectable offerings such as banana cake, lime jelly, coconut cream, Piña colada sorbet, mango sphere or Black Forest sundae, vanilla cassonade, griottine jelly black cherry espuma and meringue wafer.

The wine list makes for enticing reading, with plenty of good stuff from around the globe with several offerings by the glass.

In addition to Tassili, there is Victorias an excellent brasserie for informal meals, the Terrace is open during the summer months for dining al fresco and there is the chic, sophisticated Champagne Lounge for afternoon cream teas and evening cocktails.
