The Drum Room, located in the historic Hilton President hotel, has long been a Kansas City tradition. It opened in 1941 and hosted such talents as Frank Sinatra, Glen Miller and Patsy Cline in the lounge. It was Kansas City's place to see and be seen. It was "the coolest place in town."
It continues as a landmark today, offering lunch and dinner in the restaurant and of course Happy Hour daily in the lounge. The lounge also features live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night.
