Proprietor and chef Chester Simon is originally from Grenada known as the spice island, so it is no surprise that he has named his restaurant in Kindhausen, Muskatnuss which means nutmeg. Ingredients are sourced from the Caribbean in an unusual way, BWIA cabin crew in their stopovers supply the nutmeg, fruit and vegetables that are not available in the city. So you are guaranteed of authentic Caribbean dishes, and if you are lucky Chester who formed the reggae and soul band Superlove in 1976 could entertain you with one of his spontaneous jam sessions.
