Review on Bumanns Chesa Pirani
Bumanns Chesa Pirani is an elegant restaurant situated in the Engedine Valley, owned by husband and wife team, Ingrid and Daniel Bumann-Jossen, who were both born in the Valais region. Daniel has been awarded 2 Michelin stars and 18 points in the Gault Millau restaurant guide, along with numerous other awards for his creative cooking. They are especially famed for their speciality tasting menus with saffron from the tiny village of Mund in the Valais region of Switzerland. Local farmers provide the restaurant with meat and in the summertime fish comes from the local fishermen. In the Autumn following old traditions, local hunters supply outstanding quality game. The restaurant has a relaxed and warm ambience, and service led by Ingrid is charming.
