Artisans is set in Lake Placid Lodge, part of the prestigious Relais and Chateaux group of world-wide hotels and restaurants. The restaurant is intimate, warm and cosy fire-lit, extending out to the Lodge's wide covered porches in fine weather. The high windows and grand porches seem to seat the diner almost upon the lake. Chef Nathan Rich and his dedicated team offer a full menu based on farm to table cuisine. The cuisine is seasonally inspired and New American in tradition, but voyages wonderfully and mysteriously into the world beyond. The Lodge has an exceptional wine collection that ranges from the modest to the illustrious and a magnificent and romantic dine-in wine cellar for special occasions.
