Just as good as I remembered

Visited The Wire Mill for the first time for a couple of years. I took my new partner and he was suitable impressed. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was as delicious as ever. Really loved the new look menus. Definitely won't be as long before our next visit.

Food was lovely only complaint was presentation with the burgers, the chips looked like they were just dumped on the plate, could have done with a little side salad on plate possibly or small pot coleslaw? Peas? Apart from that the lamb I had was very tasty.

An excellent dinning experience. Food was 1st rate, staff were very helpful and professional. Can't wait to try the accommodation if the quality of the food, service and atmosphere are anything to go by. 10 out of 10.

What has happened to the Wire Mill?

Visited the Wire Mill for lunch having not been for sometime. Service has always been slow but wait was worthwhile due to interesting menu and quality of food. didn't spot drastic change in standard of catering that, in retrospect, was indicated by the new style menu. Choice now more like that of a chain restaurant. food poorly cooked, small portions. service quicker than previously but staff poorly trained.. such a shame, had been one of the few pub restaurants in the area worth going out of your way to get to. what happened to the gastronomic ambitions that once marked out this pub as a quirky little treasure?
