Review on Elude
The imposing brick facade of Elude in Liverpool's Docklands conceals a seductive and intimate restaurant ideal for business negotiations and romantic dinners alike. The tasteful and uncluttered decor is subtly lit to create a cosy yet sophisticated atmosphere, and the friendly but efficient service make for a very pleasant dining experience.
Head chef Shaun Kromer has designed a simple, but beautifully crafted, menu offering a range of freshly prepared modern European dishes ranging from slow cooked belly of British pork with apple and cauliflower puree and crackling, to pan fried fillet of sea bass quenelled on a melon, kiwi and chilli salsa.
After dinner, the low-lit late-night bar, with a wide selection of wines, spirits and beers plus champagne served by the glass, is the perfect place to prolong a romantic evening.
