Review on Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill
Marco Pierre White's Steakhouse Bar & Grill in the city centre of Liverpool, part of a small chain of upmarket steakhouses is housed in the boutique Hotel Indigo, a short walk from Albert Dock and all commercial, leisure and shopping districts. The restaurant's contemporary dιcor takes inspiration from Liverpool's history as the centre of the cotton trade, together with it's music legacy, blending warm coppers and weathered woods with exposed brick walls and brown leather seating. It also features quirky coloured cotton spools, record players and music iconography.
The kitchen is keen to source locally for its produce and the menu comprises everything you would expect from a traditional steakhouse, combined with the excellent quality that is synonymous with Marco Pierre White. Typically you might choose calves livers, crisp bacon, creamed potatoes and sauce diablo or one of their finest quality steaks aged for 28 days. Desserts home in on the classics with a bread and butter pudding or a sticky toffee pudding. To complement your dining experience there is a large and varied wine list, delicious cocktails and a range of local ales and guest ciders.
