Review on The Grill on New York Street

The Grill on New York Street opened in March 2011, formerly Paul Heathcote's Spanish tapas restaurant Grado and is now owned by the well regarded restaurant group Living Ventures, sister restaurant to the popular Grill on the Alley.

The stylish restaurant is a popular destination for a business lunch, a leisurely dinner or for cocktails after work. The British menu offers a combination of innovation and traditional favourites, underpinned with high quality ingredients. Steaks come from grass fed cattle, farmed using traditional methods and the beef is aged 28 days for tenderness and flavour, seafood is also carefully sourced from sustainable suppliers. Typically there might be Thai fish cakes with sweet chilli to start, followed by T-Bone 450G sirloin and fillet matured on the bone or yellow fin tuna loin seared pink with a soy and ginger dipping sauce. Finish with desserts of Jaffa Cake mess or white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake.
