Toku is a fabulous restaurant owned by Gillis and George Poll located at Long Island's most impressive shopping destination, Americana Manhasset. The restaurant has a minimalist design created by the award winning architects Bentel & Bentel who were responsible for The Modern at MoMA. The dining room combines the architecture of a 19th century Japanese home with 21st century modern elements. The restaurant serves a modern Asian menu where diners can either choose a traditional three course meal or dine exclusively on sushi. There is an excellent wine list to complement the dishes as well as a tempting cocktail program and sakes.
