Goldstone Hall is a country house hotel with three stars and a couple of rosettes for its culinary comforts. Under the affable gaze of John Cushing and his family, guests enjoy the quiet, relaxed and stimulating atmosphere of one of the best hotels in Shropshire.
Dinner at the hall offers guests a memorable culinary experience with talented chef David Jones leading the kitchen brigade. Inventive dishes start with citrus cured trout, taramasalata, cucumber, radish, and rocket before a main course of partridge breast and crispy leg, cabbage and celeriac or from the sea choose seabass, kale, fennel salami, fennel and fregola. To finish there's blackberry mousse, apple and honey or you might prefer the selection of Mr Moyden's North Shropshire Cheeses served with carrot chutney and homemade crackers.
