What an evening! The Shere Punjab is popular with the in-crowd and an international clientele. Here you can sit at light wooden tables and dine by candlelight. The menu offers a delicious choice of cuisine including fish, lamb and chicken curry and Tandoori specialities (the Tandoori being the Indian clay oven). A good selection of meat-free dishes goes down well with vegetarians. The staff are friendly and smiling and serve an excellent selection of wine. Cheerful-looking curtains and little pictures on the walls that are painted in warm colours make very attractive features. In fine weather you can sit outside under blue sun shades.
