Sorabol is the new name for the restaurant formerly called Asadal, which had been flying the flag for authentic Korean food in New Malden, for more than 15 years. In an area where there is a thriving Korean community and a growing number of authentic eating places, the general consensus is that the food is better than ever and its a very popular destination.

Most of the Korean classics are here, including pae jon (pancakes filled with seafood and spring onions), beef kalbi (marinated, barbecued beef ribs) and chicken bulgogi (the famed national dish cooked on a sizzling plate at the table), not forgetting the signature accompaniment – fiery, chilli-spiked kim chee.
