Review on Rambla
The creation of Rambla began in 2007 with the redesign of a cool and comfortable space just off of the grand lobby in the historic building housing the popular International House.
The space is a mixture of rough-hewn Old World sensibility with contemporary edginess and an open and warm floor plan. The majority of the seating occurs on high wooden tables with comfortable raised chair seating. There is a great communal table section spanning the center of the dining room, perfect for sharing the endless choices of small and large plates of Spanish and French-influenced cuisine. The casual, come-to-enjoy ambiance is a spirited environment for all looking for a great dining experience.
Rambla's menu amounts to modern-day celebrations of the Spanish and French influences that continue to shape New Orleans culture. Sharing the spotlight with Rambla's kitchen are the great specialty cocktails and the focused wine list.
