Nestling in 250 acres of prime Norfolk countryside and landscaped grounds, Barnham Broom is run as a prestigious hotel, country club and fitness centre, with two championship golf courses attached. Relaxed dining takes place in the Brasserie that opened its doors in March 2013 serving a variety of seasonal dishes, alongside tasty cocktails and an extensive wine list.
Locally sourced, seasonal supplies show up strongly on the menus, and the kitchen puts them to good use. Spicy Cromer crab cakes are served exotically with ginger, chilli, mooli salad and mango salsa, while pan-fried calf's liver comes with pickled shallot and sage mash, Savoy cabbage, capers and crispy bacon. For dessert, try Norfolk sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce or warm Dutch apple tart with English custard.
Alternatively, opt for the more casual, upbeat atmosphere of the Sports Bar & Café, where light food is served throughout the day and you can watch the sporting action on six-foot TV screens.
