Overlooking the superbly maintained King Edward Bay golf course, just five minutes' drive from Douglas town centre, Edward's restaurant offers modern Italian influenced cuisine in stylish surroundings.
The seasonal menu with daily specials features whisky cured salmon, crab, avocado and prawn tian, lemon dressing or parma ham, buffalo mozzarella, baby plum tomatoes, homemade pesto amongst the starters. Main courses follow in a similar vein with tagliatelle of sirloin with rocket, baby plum tomatoes and parmesan or veal escalopes with sauté mushrooms, roast garlic mash, white wine and thyme jus. There's a tempting array of desserts to finish with a Baileys crème brûlée served with hazelnut shortbread or vanilla pannacotta with raspberry compote. The interesting wine list offers good value and service is competent and friendly.
