The Waldsee Hotel is actually situated in the middle of a lake and in the middle of a forest – completely surrounded by nature. It makes a wonderful outing. Replenish yourself after a walk in the countryside. Treat yourself to a drink in the large beer garden or the Klosterkeller (monastery cellar). The Waldsee Hotel serves delicious local specialities, such as Treppelner Försterpfanne and Wirchenseer Fischplatte (Wirchensee fish platter – Wirchensee being the name of the lake). For afters, why not have a glass of Schwarzer Abt ("Black Abbot"), or a large glass of wine. Sit and enjoy your drink with a view of the lake or by the fireplace in the Klosterkeller. The Waldsee has seminar and banquet rooms for meetings and events. It can accommodate groups of up to 60 people. The restaurant itself can seat 100 diners.
