The Gaststube Bären is one of three restaurants located in Baeren Ostermundingen in the Swiss district of Bern. The Grotto, which has been given an architectural makeover, serves Italian cuisine from Monday to Friday. The Chamarré offers French cuisine complemented by the new Chamarré cult wines. The Gaststube has a rustic décor and offers regional set meals and a choice of vegetarian dishes which change on a weekly basis. In the summer you can also dine out on the country-style terrace which can sit 120 people. After 4pm single women are given a complimentary glass of Chamarré white wine or a Blanc Cassis at the bar. Accommodation is available if you should decide to stay over.
