Review on L'Opportun
Specialising in the cuisine of Lyon, L'Opportun in the 14th arrondissement of Paris is just a couple of hundred metres from the Edgar Quinet metro station. The 1900's style bistro is bright and elegant with its yellow walls and red and white chequered napkins on the wooden tables plus there is a terrace for dining al fresco.
The menu is a true delight for any fan of Lyonnaise cooking and famous dishes include prime cuts of veal or beef served with homemade fries and the quenelles, delicious light fish dumplings in Nantua sauce. The ambience is informal and friendly and there is a good value fixed priced menu.
